Habits is an app that uses psychological concepts, such as positive and negative reinforcement, to help you build good habits and break bad ones.

You can reinforce good habits with reward points, negatively reinforce bad habits (by losing reward points) and set one-off goals (and choose to add a consequence for failing to achieve it). Then you can spend your reward points on a reward for your efforts.

When building habits, we often dont get to see the benefits of our efforts, and therefore, we dont have the drive to keep those habits going. Habits lets you bargain with yourself, by helping you to reward those habits and tasks, so that you build an association that makes you feel that your efforts are paying off. This feeling can help drive us forward to building a better life.
